Who wants some UBUNTU cake?
And this is my FINAL PIECE.
I appologise for the poor photo quality of all these pictures, I took them on my mobile.
My half finnished triptych. I liked how contrasting they looked before I painted their dresses.
As you can’t tell in these photos, my canvases are actuelly A2 size.
So recently I have been doing my GCSE art project. The title of my project was HISTORICAL EVENTS. So since September, I’ve been making a scrap book with all my ideas, artists and interests linking back to the title H/E.
My book is now finnished! And off for marking so I can’t show you some of my work (sigh) but I do have photos of my final pieces. I will post them on here later, I just need to crop them.
In a nut shell, I went from exploring wartime art, 9/11 and so forth to fashion and pop legends such as Madonna, Beetles and LadyGAGA. I then looked at fashions through the decades in more depth. This is where my final pieces were inspired from. I’ve painted a triptych with acrylic, of three morphed mannequines from three different eras of fashion. 1950’s, 60’s and modern day. I hope you like them.
I’ve just drawn this picture of Marilyn Monroe. It took me about half an hour. I guess i like to do my pictures fast, i never spend more than a day on my art, unless the paint needs to dry. So anyway, i hope you like it.
This is some of Ben Heine’s work. His flickr is posted on my blog below.
This man makes some amazing pictures. I found him threw my brother on flickr.
